What is The History Of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup

 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is international championship of 20-20 International Cricket it is managed and organized by crickets world’s governing handlers International Cricket Council (ICC) the tournament is currently played with a 16 teams selected by top 10 teams given by their rankings till the deadline and remaining six teams are selected through T20 World Cup Qualifier. all the matches are played in the the format of Twenty20 Internationals. generally the event is taken in ever two years the latest championship event was scheduled take place on 2020 but due to surge of covid-19 pandemic lockdown in worldwide the event is postponed to 2021. al the host have been changed it is shifted to India. this times edition is taking place after the 5 years of its last edition which is played in 2016 where the winners are second time champions West Indies.
    Where the current champion is West indies who was the second time champion most runs are made by sri lanka’s Mahela Jayawardene which is total 1016 Runs and most wickets taken by Pakistan circketers  Shahid Afridi total of 39 wickets.

This season was the sixth edition of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup this time season was hosted by india for the first time and third asian country to host the tournament. season was run from 8 March to 3 April 2016, for the first time this season 16 teams were participating teams. season was divided into three stages. final of the tournament was played in Eden gardens Kolkata. West Indies was the winner defeating England winning their second title by four wickets. Virat kohli was announced player of the tournament bangladesh’s Tamim iqbal scored most runs 295 runs and afghanistan’s mohammad nabi taken most wickets 12.

Tournament was played in 7 Stadiums and 7 location across india M. Chinnaswamy Stadium (Bangalore), HPCA Stadium (Dharamshala), PCA IS Bindra Stadium (Mohali), Eden Gardens (Kolkata), Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai), VCA Stadium (Nagpur), Feroz Shah Kotla (New Delhi). ICC World Twenty20 was announced the total prize money pool of $10 Million 33% more than 2014  tournament. prize money was distributed in several parts.

This season was the fifth season of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup this time hosted by Bangladesh. tournament was started from March 16 to 6 April 2014. in 2010 icc was announced that 2016 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be hosted by Bangladesh. this was the second time where an asian country was hosted the tournament earlier sri lanka was hosted in 2012. Sri lanka won the tournament beating India by 6 wickets.

All the matches was played in the matches in three grounds in Bangladesh. Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (Chittagong), Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium (Dhaka), Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (Sylhet). This time groups was changed in groups and super 10. Player of the series was announced as Virat Kohli most runs was done by virat kohli 319 runs. most wicket taken by Imran Tahir 12.

This season was the fourth season of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup hosted by Sri Lanka tournament run from 18 September to 7 October 2012 and this season was won by West Indies defeating Sri Lanka Pacer Lashith Mailnga of the sri lanka was selected as event ambasoder of the tournament by icc. player of the series was announced as Austrlian all rounder Shane Watson. also most runs was made by Shane Watson 249 runs. most wicket by taken by srilankan cricketer Ajantha Mendis 15 wickets.

All the matches was played in 3 grounds and venue. Pallekele Cricket Stadium (Pallekele), R. Premadasa Stadium (Colombo), Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium (Hambantota) All the grounds capasity had 35000. with the 13 on field captains and 4 referees. official was announced groups on  21 September 2011. Groups are as below. 12 warm up matches played between 13 September to 19 September.

2010 T-20 world cup was the third season of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup this was hosted by West Indies season was held between 30 April 2010 to 16 May 2010. won by England defeating Australia. Kevin Pietersen was the player of the tournament. this season was tool place just after 10 months of previus season. tournament was featured by 12 team globally. Afghanistan was make their first ever participation in ICC tournament.  Mahela Jayawardene was announced as the most runs by a player with 302 runs. total matches was played equal to 27.

All the matches was played in Beausejour Stadium (Gros Islet, St Lucia), Kensington Oval (Bridgetown, Barbados), Providence Stadium (Providence, Guyana) Qualifiers won by Afghanistan defeating Ireland by margin of 8 wickets. On  4 July 2009 groups was announced by officials. groups was as below.

This is the second season of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup which was hosted in England in 2009 the final was played on 21 June pakistan becomes the winner beating sri lanka with the margin of eight wickets. all the matches was played in three wickets Trent Bridge (Nottingham), Lord’s (London) The Oval (London).

The first season of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Hosted By south Africa it was run from 11 September 2007 to 24 September 2007 twelve world class team team was participated in the championship. season was run total of thirteen days india won the tournament beating pakistan in the final. rules of the tournament was decided by ICC where winning team will gate 2 points for the points table and losing team will get 0 points of points table and when the match will be tie both the team scores same run the bowl-out decision will decide the winner was played bitween india and pakistan on points table teams was decided threw higher number of wins.

In the Icc Men’s T20 World Cup 2007 all the matches were played in three grounds Newlands Cricket Ground (Cape Town), Kingsmead (Durban), Wanderers Stadium (Johannesburg).
